Assistance League of Sacramento is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization comprised of multi-talented members working together to fulfill its mission of enhancing lives in the Sacramento region through community-based programs.
Membership is open to those who wish to be of service to our community and have the time, creativity and passion to volunteer. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of our community and provide an ideal venue for those seeking fulfillment from helping others.

Got time to spare and share? Want to make a difference while making friends and learning new skills? Our membership requirements put you in good company while you contribute directly to our community. Join us!
VOTING MEMBER
- Attend regular and special meetings of the membership
- Commit to participate in one or more of the following: philanthropic programs, resale shop, committees, or fundraising
- Attend chapter meetings, 3rd Wednesday of the month, Sept–June
- No fixed time commitment
- Participate in orientation activities the first year of membership
- Pay annual dues of $75 (tax-deductible)
NON-VOTING MEMBER
- May attend chapter meetings, participate in philanthropic programs, and serve on committees
- No fixed commitment
- Pay annual dues of $80 (tax-deductible)
Become a Community Volunteer
Not quite ready to join, but want to make a difference? Become a Community Volunteer and help when and where you can.
Community volunteers work in the front and back of our resale shop, Fabulous Finds on Fulton. There are some restrictions in what a community volunteer can do. There is no fee to participate. You will be interviewed by our Community Volunteer Coordinator, asked to complete an application, and receive training prior to working in the shop.
- Work in our Fabulous Finds on Fulton resale shop
- Participate as a non-member with no dues or required service hours
- Community Volunteers are required to complete a background check at no cost to the volunteer.
Must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer.
